Parking
Finding a park in the Centrepoint complex is quick and easy with over 400 undercover car spaces. Now you can avoid the CBD traffic congestion by parking in the Centrepoint shopping complex car park.
To make it even easier the first three hours are free.
There are over 400 car spaces all under cover with easy access and all close to the 36 specialty retail and food shops. Visitors to the centre can park free of charge while they enjoy a meal in the food court or a little retail therapy as well.
The parking system is easy to operate. Follow these simple steps as a guide:
Step 1 - Take a ticket at the boom gate – the boom will lift up.
Step 2 - Find an easy car park– take your ticket with you.
Step 3 - When leaving Centrepoint check how long you have stayed by checking the ticket at the pay station near the car park.
Step 4 - If less than three hours, parking will be free. If you have stayed longer than that, then pay the fee displayed.
Step 5 - Take your ticket, and place in the exit boom gate slot to lift the boom on the way out.
There are a number of entry and exits including from behind the Westpac Bank off Brisbane Street, as well as entry and exits off Marius Street and Fitzroy Street.
Vehicle safety is important with the car park patrolled by security staff and cameras placed throughout the area as well.
So the message is - avoid traffic congestion, save money and take advantage of the free parking in the Centrepoint Shopping Complex.
